Owner's Rules
1. Owning OOTP 6.5 is Optional, as you can post lineups in your designated team thread rather than export if need be.
2. Every GM MUST have an AIM screen name. If you don't have AIM, download it for free at www.aim.com.
3. The Initial Draft will be held in an AIM chat room, but the rookie drafts will be held on the board.
3. You must post a lineup consistently. Failure to do so will result in termination from the league.
4. When posting a trade, each owner must say they agree to it in the thread. 5 Players per team for each trade.
5. You ARE allowed to trade first round draft picks and cash. One player must be involved from each side however.
6. Trades are always processed pre sim, unless asked otherwise.
7. The Commisioners have the last say in any debate, and maintain the power to make a ruling if the rule is not in the rulebook.
Owners are also asked to maintain a healthy and mature attitude at all times. Any owner that is, but not limited to: caught cheating by owning two or more teams, tanking their team in order to gain a higher draft slot, making lop-sided trades, or not showing and demonstrating a healthy and mature attitude, at the decision of the commissioner, will be removed from the league.
Points
1. You may write ONE article per day, any more than that and you won't get credit for it.
2. Points can be spent to improve players ratings, or their tendencies. Loyalty is the only thing that you can never change.
3. To see how much things cost, you can go to the "Spend Your Points" thread.
4. You are allowed to bet a maximum of 200 points per day, and a max of 100 points per game.
5. You can "duel" another GM in an upcoming series, or for an entire season. The winner of the bet will recieve the amount of points that was agreed to. Both teams must have that many points present at the time of the bet, and those points immediately are taken out of your team point bank and placed in a "betting line." The winner of the bet then will have both players points placed into his team point bank.
Free Agency
1. Teams will PM their offers to Matt, (CHSFB75) and he will enter them into the game for each FA sim. Free Agents tend to only sign for 7 years or less, unless the money is ridiculous then they will sign longer contracts.
2. The player minimum salary is $300,000, and their is no salary cap in this league.
3. To insure the commisioner's aren't seeing all the offers before putting their own in, they will enter their offers before any other team, and then Matt will check his box to put in the other offers.
Winterball
1. You can send up to 3 players per season.
2. The players must all be under the age of 25, and can only be sent once throughout their career.
3. If you send a player twice and get caught, your team will be fined $2,000,000 and your player will lose that many ratings points rather then gain them. If he gets a 9 in winterball his second time, he will lose the 9 ratings points in whatever category you had selected.
4. For more indepth rules, see the Winterball thread.
